I completely agree that this is a very controversial issue, and that it does pain me to see the face of the American education system become so tainted. However,. a 16 year old boy will b rag about winning a game of rock, paper, scissors until his last breath. So what do you expect when one boy has something happen to him that very few other boys can even imagine.
I am not saying he should brag about his actions, but it was the teachers fault for not using good judgment, and if the supposed victim of this situation wants to use his ego to deflect some of the attention, than I think that is expected.
Since this was an ongoing relationship judging by the report, the student should have cared more about the teachers he was engaged with. No matter how much of a weird and controversial relationship it was between the three of them, he should have realized the terrible consequences that could arise from such an issue.
